Dr. Subrat is a Research Associate in Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru. He has earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Guwahati. He has a teaching experience of 2.5 years in different universities in Assam. He is an active researcher and also very much interested to give his contributions for the betterment of the society and the country as a whole. He is passionate about economically empowering the youth especially in the rural regions by means of organic farming and animal husbandry etc.

ড০ সুব্রত বৰ্তমান বাংগালোৰস্থিত জৱাহৰলাল নেহৰু চেন্টাৰ ফৰ এডভান্সড চায়েন্টিফিক ৰিচাৰ্চত এজন গৱেষক হিচাবে কৰ্মৰত। তেখেতে ইতিমধ্যে ভাৰতীয় প্রযুক্তিবিদ্যা প্রতিষ্ঠান, গুৱাহাটীৰ পৰা মেকানিকেল ইঞ্জিনিয়াৰিঙ বিষয়ত পি. এইচ. ডি ডিগ্রী লাভ কৰিছে। তেখেতৰ অসমৰ বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ত প্ৰায় ৩ বছৰ অধ্যাপনা কৰাৰ অভিজ্ঞতা আছে। তেখেত এজন সক্ৰিয় গৱেষক আৰু তেখেত যুৱ সমাজৰ আৰ্থিক উন্নয়নৰ বাবে জৈৱিক কৃষিপদ্ধতি আৰু জীবজন্তু পালনৰ ক্ষেত্রত সহায় আগবঢ়াবলৈ আগ্রহী।
